Hi,

This is want I do for now: Just use < noscript > < dnn:links > < /noscript >

Just an alternative for those can't load the menu. You are able to set the style / design 100% same as the dnn menu, just without a dropdown.

Btw, you're advice to use links as dnn menu is not readable by Search Engine.

BTW: Is there anyone using [LinkActions] in Container in DNN 4.9? Did it work? Or perhaps just do a short test? Really appreciate if anyone can put some attention on these 2 issues.

Thanks for the suggestion - can you tell me where the < noscript > < dnn:links > < /noscript > goes??  What file am I modifying here?

I'm still researching this as best I can (not too skilled in javascript) and it looks like the menu script is not getting executed properly.  The hidden field that contains the menu entries (__dnnVariable) only contains an entry for Home, no other entries even though there should be several others.

Any new ideas?

The  <noscript> [anything goes here] </noscript> will appear when visitor's browser has js turned off. You can put in same place where the menu is. This is good for anyone that has problem loading the menu as well as for search engine.

There are many 3rd party menu developers which is SEO friendly where you can find it in snowcovered.com not cheap as I would say for just a menu.

I've submitted this issue on DNN Gemini and the problem as least will be fixed in DNN 5.1. Rumor said that there will be whole new menu....doubted...

If you have only few pages, you can use html module or hardcoded it onto your skin's ascx/html.
