Dear all,

I am very new to DNN, so this may be asked before but I couldn't find it after searching. I installed DNN 4.09 on my test site and played with it for several days. Now I am ready to move my site to the production site, is there any step-by-step tutorial available for this transition? I have copied all files from the test site to the production site. I don't need to move the DB because both sites are using the same SQL server database. Now what should I do?

Thanks,

Jeffrey

I found this and it worked for me. Hope it helps. I was also able to ask the author question about this and he emailed me back very quick.

Hi Mofo, it is a userful article.

I have my site moved from dev to production, but now my question is can I delete the alias that I added in my dev site after I moved to the production site?

Thanks,

You may can find it in the SQL database. Evertthing seems to be there. Make a backup before you change anything there directly.
