Hi there.

I am trying to configure the evernt viewer in which i want to know when ever there is unsucessfull login attempt made i should get an email. or anything. So i have gone to add event and added there type as login failure and i have given the email address there. The to field and the from field but still i am not able to get mail. i have tested out SMTP setting i am able to get the mail.  i am able to get mails under the header send exception.

Can you tell me what should be done here.

Check the SMTP server logs to see if the mail is getting sent and possibly blocked somewhere.

did you enable the associated scheduler job for sending mails?
