I'am using the dnn google map module and i have a problème with localization.

When the default language is French the longitude and latitude use ',' characters instead of '.' . So the it use longitude=0 and latitude=0 to show a map.

any ideas to correct this bug ?

What are the locality settings that you have currently (web/db/local)? The DNN Map was built to support the difference in floating notations, so this issue should not be occuring?

Kevin,
I encountered this issue with my Zero-In map module. DNN properly handles floating number formats, but the Google APIs do not.

If you have a localized lat/long 32,1234 / -96,1234 (using commas instead of periods), the JavaScript passes those values to the Google API. If you are using the US Google API, it is expecting periods, not commas, and will not correctly render the point.

the bug is in the Column "Settings" in the Map_Maps table.

the longitude and latitude are not write correctly.

Is there already a solution for this issue? I have the same problem having Czech DNN localisation using also commas instead of points... Thanks. Ales
