I have effectively made the shipping cost on my site $0.00 as I base my shipping costs on value...however for some reason teh shipping costs don't come up in the final payment stage (pay pal payment).  The did show when using the previous store module, but don't in this version.

Anyone know why and how to fix?

Dave

Hi,

You have to define Surchage (Percent) or Surcharge (Fixed) inside the Store Admin module.

Ask yourself what your reaction would be, if you were approached by me (a total stranger) on the street to ask you something without saying "Hello" nor "Thank you"? After several years of services dedicated to the community, I begin to be tired to read requests without any form of politeness.

Hi Gilles.

Thanks for your reply.

My shipping charges operate at a flat rate of "X" dollars for all orders under $100, but I have free shipping for all orders over $100.  That is why I used the shipping setup in Paypal rather than in the online store itself.  This worked fine in the previous store version but not for the new version.  Unfortunately the current shipping setup in the store is only for shipping size/weight, rather than giving us the option for value based shipping charges.

Is there a particular reason the new store module doesn't work with the paypal shipping setup?

Any ideas guys?

Or even better still...anyone able to do some instructions or documentation on how we can set the store shipping settings with value based rather than weight or dimensions?

Dave

PS: Yes Im a newb.

Hi Dave,

Currently, the shiping rates are based on weight only. But, I think for add this kind of enhancement for a future version.
