On the checkout page, the address fields are called Street, Unit, City, Region, Postal Code.

I want to change these to Address 1, Address 2, City, State, Postcode.

Where can I do this? There appear to be a couple of places in the Language Editor where the fields are similar in name, but changing them has no effect.

Hi,

Login as Host, then go to Host > Languages and click on Language Editor. In the left column, expand Local Resources > DesktopModules > Store > Providers > AddressProviders > DefaultAddressProvider > App_LocalResources and select StoreAddress.ascx. Now you can find the resources in the right part, here the corresponding names:

  • Street > plStreet.Text
  • Unit > plUnit.Text
  • City > plCity.Text
  • Region > plRegion.Text
  • Postal Code > plPostal.Text

You can change the help text to be more accurate, the resource name is the same but with .Help (plStreet.Help).

It would be so particularly appreciated that your messages begin with "Hello" and end with "Thank you" or any other form of politeness. Ask yourself what your reaction would be, if you were approached by me (a total stranger) on the street to ask you something without saying "Hello" nor "Thank you"? After several years of services dedicated to the community, I begin to be tired to read requests without any form of politeness.

Salut, Gilles.

I've been corresponding with you for the past week or so on wwstore, and then when I post an issue with Store2 here, you answer it too.

The man's everywhere, ladies and gents...

Hi,

It's because I maintain both versions and I'm your humble servant!  What's your name on dnn.fr ?

Gilles
