Hi,

i have the problem that the DNN search function can't find any text or item in the store. (also article module shows no results via the search by the way)

My second "issue" is i want to use the Store Menu on two pages, but with different content. For example Page A contains a store menu/catalog with manufactors and on Page B the catalog contains Productlines. If i add now the Categories via the store admin, the menus show all content on both pages, and not apart as i want them to do. Is there any possibility to get the result i want ?

Thanks in advance!

I have to correct my post a bit, imagine following:

Page A: Manufactors

The Catalog shows the Categories, which lead to the products and at last the product details

Page B: Productlines

The Catalog shows a summary the products from Page A, but as Categories! That means if on Page A Manufactor X has product X and manufactor Y has product Y, than on this second page you will see a listing of product X AND product Y. And those are now the categories which lead to further products and productdetails as usual.

I think it's a little bit more clear now what i need. If this isn't possible with the Store Module, what else could I use ?

Hi,

The search function must work, because the module implement ISeachable interface. If some other modules do not return results, may be it's a problem with your index. Try to rebuild it (Host > Search Admin > Re-Index Content) and verify if the SearchEngineScheduler is enabled (Host > Schedule).

The Store Menu module do not use the Manufacturer values, but the Category values. You can't do this, sorry.

After several years of services dedicated to the community, I begin to be tired to read requests without any form of politeness.
