Hi I need to come up with the ability to allow a role that can only edit the text in the text/html module without allowing the other options such as changing fonts etc... any way to deactivate the rich text editor for good by role? Still want the ability to decide who gets to see this option(such as host and admin and maybe one other role) and who doesnt. Please help. I know that you can click the basic text box option and that removes the ability but the user can still go in and do damage. I only want them to be able to change text. Also is there a way to deactivate some options on the rich text editor for example maybe I want all options grayed out except the ability to add images?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

you can disable options per instance using the advanced editor options. if you have questions regarding editor settings, please use FCKEditor forum.
