I have just installed the beta version of the store module.  Looks very nice and clean with a promising future.  I have a discovered a few issues:

  1. The image I assign for a product does not show up - whether it is a .jpg or .gif file.  What am I missing here?
  2. If I add an item to the shopping cart and then log out, when I log back in as another user the shopping cart still contains the item from the previous session. 
  3. When I go to check out - it is very confusing trying to find the addresses.  You have to set up your profile first and that is not prominently indicated at all.  It would be helpful if the registered user info was an address option (possibly the default selection).
  4. Where are the shipping charges?  I don't see this anywhere and without shipping this module is not ready yet.

Hi Paul,

Here are some responses to the issues you have found:

1. We are currently using the HostUrl from the Host Settings to build the full path to the image file. In retrospect, this may not be the best solution. We will look into this for a future release.
2. The user's cart is tied to a cookie stored by the browser. We should probably make the cookie user-specific.
3. I agree, address handling (billing and shipping) is not very user-friendly. I will add this to the list to consider for future releases.
4. The beta version does not deal with shipping charges. This is on the list for future versions.

Our current plan is to put out another version in the 4-6 week timeframe (please don't hold me to it, depends on many factors). Hopefully the next version will cover some of these items.
