Hey guys -

We have gotten in the habit of installing DotNetNuke on client's web sites in a subfolder like wwwroot\dnn\
Some of our clients are complaining about the location, and would like their web address to simply be http://domain.com/ not http://domain.com/dnn

We have attempted just moving all the files in the subfolder wwwroot\dnn\ to wwwroot\, and that seems to actually work ok, except when the user logs on as Host, or admin, all the control panel icons are red x'd, and they are getting a lot of windows logon prompts....?

Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance!

Now it's still doing it unfortunately... any other suggestions?
Everything functions fine, just the whole site is out of wack visually when logged in as an admin.

Let me know - thanks!

Ok - finally figured it out...

Back in our pre-DNN days, we had reserved the /admin folder as a place to hold scripts that would show info about the servers, etc... and consequently had removed the anon browsing account from that folder under IIS. We put that permission back and all is well! (the /admin folder is where these icons in the DNN control panel are stored)
