I have an existing portal running DNN 3.1.1 and there are about 4000 users registered in that portal, now there is a requirment to port those users to a new portal running DNN 4.5.5, I do not want to upgrade the original portal since it has alot of custom modules that will not run on DNN 4.

Is there a way to port all the user?

 4000 users are a lot man.  I know dnnvillage released a import export module which is help you to import users in xml format which is included user profiles and user define data, so all you need is create xml file then use the module to import data. dnnvillage module will take care of the reast.  There is some instructions as well as two sample xml files.
