Hi @all,

I'm testing WWStore 02.00.08. Our intention is to use the store without online payment and without user registration. Is it possible to avoid the user signup when checkout (i.e. usermapping? or something)?
 Are there any solutions?

Thank u

Marcel

Hi Marcel,

You can't avoid registration for now. May be in a future version.

Do you use WWStore as a catalog only (without ordering)?

Gilles

We (team members) are Humans offering their knowledge, their work and their spare time FOR FREE to benefit the community. It would be so particularly appreciated that your messages begin with "Hello" and end with "Thank you" or any other form of politeness. Ask yourself what your reaction would be, if you were approached by me (a total stranger) on the street to ask you something without saying "Hello" nor "Thank you"? After several years of services dedicated to the community, I begin to be tired to read requests without any form of politeness.

Hi Gilles

We use WWStore with ordering, but without online payment. The official has to check the orders and will send invoices.
But our customer don't want, that the store-customer has to signin or register.
Everything else works very fine.

Hi Marcel and babyduck,

Could you explain what do you want exactly?
What if, a customer come several times? Does it have to enter its address with each visit?

Currently, the customers must authenticate themselves then to give its address again. But, when the addresses provider is finished, after having been identified the customer will be able to select an address previously entered.

Gilles
