Hi,

I want to enforce the pane sizes on my site a minimum and maximum size. I've done it in the .htm part of my skin. I imagine I need to do it in the .css part also. Do I need to do it in Both?

What syntax is required and will it work ?

Thanks

you can use the CSS properties min-width and max-width, this won't work in IE6.

For IE6 you can use:

.yourclass {
 width: expression(document.body.clientWidth < 300? "300px" : document.body.clientWidth > 600? "600px" : "auto");
}

Thanks peter. Will the IE6 code then work in all browsers ?

I don't want to have it working differently in different browsers if possible.

Peter I don't think this is working.

Can you tell me what the code is to fix the width at exactly 200px ?

thanks.

Well, if a single block element get's a fixed width, it will adhere to that width. There are cases when some kind of scaling takes place. I would suggest you to get a decent CSS book. These books explain this things much better than I can.
