No urgency Steve, I just though that I was not able to reach you by email. I will wait untill you have finished it, that's very nice that you can do it, I won't ask an immediate action.

G-Hunter, have you modified the code yourself ? In such case, would it be possible to obtain it ?
Or anybody else ?? I would greatly appreciate it... :-)

No, i haven't modified it yet. I can modify it and make it available if you would like to use it. One thing i was going to add is to only allow editing for the admin, and maybe moderator if it isn't too difficult.

I will post back here when i have it completed as i am not at home to do it right now.

Hello Steve and G-Hunter.

Steve, thank you very much for the clear explanation and guidelines, a friend of mine just done the modification for me !! Just perfect, excepted a small side-effect.
When I edit an item, the owner is set back to the name of the current logged user, instead of keeping the previous name (it was the old behavior of the module before making the changes you suggested). Any idea to avoid that ???

I was thinking the same thing. The current value for author and email should be displayed instead of the logged in user whenever editing an entry. I will have to dig through it a little more, and maybe i will come up with the fix for that.
