A Note about the Version Numbers

Our goal is to keep Evoq versions in synch with the DNN Platform version. However, the open source DNN Platform skipped the version 9.3 and went to 9.3.1. This was primarily due to a glitch in the software build process. Evoq did not follow Platform, and called this release as version 9.3.

Just to confirm the Evoq version is 9.3, which is built on top of DNN Platform 9.3.1.

Known Potential Breaking Changes

If you currently use any 3rd party or in-house Persona Bar extensions which utilize the export bundle from the Admin Experience, they will need to be updated after upgrading to v9.3.1. Changes since unreleased version of DNN Platform 9.3.0

Fixed version issue with AdminExperience, CKEditor, FolderProviders, and JWT. These extensions were incorrectly versioned in the 9.3.0 release. This caused the upgrade process for v9.2.2 sites to skip upgrading those extensions. This resulted in an upgrade that appeared successful but was incomplete.

Noteworthy Changes in v9.3.1

• Enhanced the common tooltip component for accessibility within the Admin Experience.
• Updated all React.Common packages to React 16 and created initial storyboards.
• Group Privacy Settings in Site Settings in a new tab.
• Added Cookie consent and configuration settings for Terms and Privacy pages.
• Added UI connector to manage Google Analytic tracking.
• Performance fix for CoreMessaging and Journal procedures.
• Performance & stability fix for Azure & other Environments.
• On hover, we are now showing the pane name again when in edit mode.
• Added attributes for improving accessibility in the Admin Experience.
• Added UI for Small and Large Page Icons back into Page Settings.
• Added UI for Host Email setting under SMTP Configuration.
• Resolved issue with viewing/editing user profiles on certain pages with http/https differences.

EVOQ BASIC

Evoq Basic 9.3.0 contains the new features listed above in DNN Platform 9.3.1.

• Persona Bar
  • Empty row with dashes and icons is created afer cancel add new user profile
  • Workflows > Add State is not working
  • Manage > Users > User Activity: Recent activity row too tall
  • Warning in console when Click on "Add Site Group" in Manage > Sites > Site Groups(tab)
  • Global Assets > Users can not rename folders
  • Incorrect behaviour while adding the new user to the folder permission
  • Moving folder - When non existing is specified / OR no destination path specified- Message displayed is not inline with the test case expected result.
  • Copy Asset to Non Existing Location (& also when destination path is blank) - Copy of the assets is getting created within the source folder
• Providers
  • DNN Pro Active Directory Authentication Module doesn't work when First Name and Last Name fields are filled in the Active Directory Users
  • Active Directory Authentication Fails after Checking Hide Login Controls

EVOQ CONTENT

Evoq Content 9.3.0 contains the new features listed above in DNN Platform 9.3.1 and Evoq Basic 9.3.0.

  • Connectors > MailChimp Settings is not displayed

  • Content Type filter by tags not working
  • Module imported failed when its referenced content item/content type has been deleted

  • In Visualizer Content Item edit breaks on navigating to persona bar
  • Advanced filter not being saved when only casing changes

EVOQ ENGAGE

Evoq Engage 9.3.0 contains the new features listed above in DNN Platform 9.3.1, Evoq Basic 9.3.0 and Evoq Content 9.3.0.
