Are you ready for DNNSummit? I am. This will be my third year presenting in Denver, Colorado, my most favorite of states. If you haven’t attended the conference before, you’re in for a treat, I’ll try to give you some insight as to what you can expect!

This November 13th meeting we discussed about GDPR, Issue review process, XML documentation, the common React components refactoring and we converted many RFCs into actual actionable issues.

In this session we got an introduction to Blazor, one of Microsoft's latest technologies, from our very own Clint Patterson. We then got a look into the DNN Connector API from DNN MVP Mike Smeltzer. It was a great meeting with lots of insightful content. Clint's presentation was intriguing as Blazor allows C# to run in the browser which makes back-end devs all over the world happy and Mike's presentation helped connect the dots for anyone looking to build out a connector.

This November 6th meeting we discussed about the RFC Process, the Security Analyser, Webinars (DNN hangout), GDPR, Issue Review, API XML Documentation and improving the common REACT components.

I’ll be the first to admit that this blog post should have been written a few weeks ago, however, a number of items needed to fall in-line before I could give this post justice. Within the DNN Technology Advisory Group (TAG) the future of DNN as it relates to .NET Core has been discussed at length many times. These conversations have come to multiple conclusions in the past, however, in the most recent discussions, thanks to some clarity by Microsoft an immediate term decision has been put in place. In this post I hope to try and share the highlights of those discussions, the reasoning behind the decision and the road ahead, at last as it appears now, for DNN.
