QA Team Update – Testable DNN Module, Automation Tests

The QA Team is getting some excellent traction.  The Testable DNN Module that I updated to use the WebFormsMVP pattern that is now included in DNN is the focus for the team now.  Our aim is to have it ready as a starter kit for the next feature release of DNN.  The module is complete and now we are concentrating on the Unit Tests.  These need to be refactored from how I had it before to use Moq, MBUnit and Gallio.  The project has been upgraded to VS2010 and uses the new beta assemblies of MBUnit and Gallio so that the tests show up in the VS2010 Test View like so:

We also have a new part to the solution for automation tests.  These tests work in a similar way to the core automation tests and will allow you to drive your module automatically for full integration testing.

I am about to write a Powershell script that will allow VS2008 users to open the solution.  This means we can keep one set of project files and just update them for those who don’t have VS2010 yet.
