How to delete user (that is not currently logged in) from a role?

I need to remove a user from a role, this user will be dependent on whatever email my client enters in a textbox. I know certain versions of DeleteUserRole() are deprecated. I need to know how to use this version:

DeleteUserRole(UserInfo objUser, RoleInfo role, PortalSettings portalSettings, bool notifyUser);

properly for my scenario.
