Question:

Hi all, I am a new user to DNN CMS and so far I am loving everything about it but I have a recurring problem that is causing me some grief. After installing the dnndev.me environment onto my c drive under C:\Websites\DnnDev.me and setting everything up correctly under IIS etc. it all seems to work really well but after some time like the next day or so I go to login to my website, using the 'host' account created at installation time, to use the Persona bar etc. and it keeps producing a critical error as shown in my question above. Here is what the EventLog says in my DB...

PAGE_LOAD_EXCEPTION

<LogProperties>

<LogProperty>

<PropertyName>AbsoluteURL</PropertyName>

<PropertyValue>/Default.aspx</PropertyValue>

</LogProperty>

<LogProperty>

<PropertyName>DefaultDataProvider</PropertyName>

<PropertyValue>DotNetNuke.Data.SqlDataProvider, DotNetNuke</PropertyValue>

</LogProperty>

<LogProperty>

<PropertyName>ExceptionGUID</PropertyName>

<PropertyValue>1c2e9d29-9a6c-4b58-b69d-eff9a4f3899a</PropertyValue>

</LogProperty>

</LogProperties>

There is nothing else to go by with this error and is rather perplexing. The only way I have managed to get rid of it is to do a complete new reinstall of the whole thing which is a nightmare after I have done so much work building my site to date. So far I have done this 3 times and about to give up and go elsewhere. I was just about the purchase XMod Pro and couple other modules available to purchase from the store but am hesitant until this issue is resolved fully. I can't keep rebuilding the entire site every time this happens. Please can someone offer some insight into this because i am at a loss and need to make some progress here.

Thank you very much for any assistance you can offer...cheers :)

Grant
