I'm using the basic DNN9 platform. I'm new to the platform, so go easy on me :)

I have a single site. I want to set it to use English (United Kingdom). I want the url to be dnndev.me/ (without en-gb/ on the end). I'm struggling to make that happen.

When I add a new language - English (United Kingdom) - DNN adds a new site alias for me. I can now browse to dnndev.me/en-us/ or dnndev.me/en-gb. I do not want those suffixes at all.

There is also a language switcher in the header - despite me leaving that option switched off.

Is there a way to get what I'm looking for?

Additionally, when I remove the English (United Kingdom) language, no matter where I go, I'm redirected to dnndev.me/en-us which gives a 404 error. It's like it leaves the site alias there - but it doesn't work anymore. So far the only way back I've found is to delete the site and database and start again!
