Hi,

A client today, has triggered an effect that pretty much broke a large portion of the database.

All the client did was use the control bar to Add a HTML module to a content pane.

The page immediately broke, apparently adding several modules in one go. It then became apparent that the TabModule table had had lots of records updated with the same icon image, and the same ContainerSrc.

I have just recovered the database from last night, and I can't see anything common about the modules that were updated. It appears that AddModule in the ControlbarController somehow went wild and trounced the database - or possibly something just prior to that event occured that was only revealed upon forcing refresh of the page.

All core elements of DotNetNuke 7.0.3 are unaltered in this build, so I'm wondering if anyone has an idea of what could occur that could update some but not all records?

Thanks,

Mark [www.ia.uk.com]
