I was trying to install DNN7 by hosting a website on IIS and it installed properly. But when i run the website directly by visual studio, it got struck at first point of permission check. Though i have provide full control on folder for everyone. I need to do if it is necessary to use IIS for installing DNN 7 on local or not. If yes then what is the reason and if no the how can we install directly by visual studio.
