I've got a requirement for a customer who does transcription work and what happens is that client’s upload their video's to his site and then the files need to be cut into smaller pieces to be given out to individual transcriptionists.

I'm need to be able to somehow take say a 2 hour video clip and break that video into 4 thirty minute pieces and send links to the transcriptionists for download and processing.

So my question is that there any module that are capable of doing this server side?If not are there any asp.net components that can be recommended?

I'm busy evaluating 2 components at the moment but without proper documentation there is much work still to be done before I'll even know if they'll be functional?

I'm sure someone has done this already which is basically to point a piece of software at a video file, mainly QuickTime, and then break that file into certain sized Mb chunks or by using the video's timecode cut it into manageable pieces.
